Kentucky was the first stop on our list. We explore many of cities as well traveled through focusing on the most popular cities so we could get a feel what the whole state had to offer. As we drove around we did make sure to visit some of the prime gems that state had to offer. The Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY was the first place we stopped and it was a very neat experience learning the history of an American classic muscle car. We then made our way over to the Mammoth Cave National Park.

Exploring the Mammoth Cave was exactly what we need to refresh us from the humid heat of the July days. We try to explore the backcountry roads as much as possible while visiting each state and the Daniel Boone National Forest was a perfect place to take a drive. We ended our visit in Kentucky exploring through the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY. Religious or not the Ark Encounter is a truly magnificent place to wander.
