We traveled 44 states and 45,000 miles across the United States in the vehicle. We hope this helps you build your vehicle so you can enjoy the adventure as much as we have. All the gear we used is linked below. If you have any questions feel free to shot us a comment or DM on instagram @backroadpurpose
We've never actually answered the questions of why we sold our house and quit our jobs and decided to restart our lives. It has not been the easiest journey but all the good stuff is worth waiting for.
It was very fun making this video and I love sharing our story with you guys. We're so excited for the future and cannot wait to make more videos about it.
Well It's time to sell the FJ which is sad but we're also super excited for our future with this new build.
We bought a bus! But the journey has just begun. Stay tuned for part 2 where Caleb has to drive the bus back one thousand miles home.
It was a crazy journey driving the 1000 miles back but it made and we are so excited to build out this bus and bring you guys along!!
This is the how we turned our bifold door into a single fold. It opens and functions like a normal door now! if you have any questions, feel free to message. I'd love to help!
If you guys are interested in me helping you with your build or doing a conversion for you, shoot me an email. I've spent the time to gather this information and I'd love to share it with you guys. Free up sometime for you and get you started sooner.
So happy to be on this next chapter of our lives. A lot of time and effort has gone into getting us to this point and Im so thankful for you guys and all the comments. Life is a wild ride and I love it.
Its been a long time coming but we now have a shop in Wilmington, NC to build buses. Making some changes to our bus since its going to be for sale. And designing the layout of our current client build for their 42-footer.
Sold! Thank you for all of the interest. This bus is now sold but we are still doing conversions for people and can build you a bus just like this or even one better.
I just took over a client bus, and everything is went great! The client is stoked about the progress and I'm making a lot more progress on my own. The last guy was taking forever to finish and the client was getting impatient. It's fun to have so much space to work and I'm able to build everything a lot faster than I would be able to in a regular van build. I'm really excited to see how this build turns out!
